Nick Wilson

Remedial Massage Therapist

Nick has been massaging for the better part of a decade, in a multitude of clinical, corporate and professional sports settings. In his every day life he is often described as the world’s most useless handyman, but put a human body on his table and watch him go to work.

During his career, Nick has developed his own approach to remedial massage, enabling him to effectively assess and treat both specific injuries and long-term body management. Relying on his knowledge of various treatment techniques, Nick believes in assessing the body for dysfunction before every treatment. He is then able to tailor specific management plans for his clients enabling better and faster recovery.

Combining massage with cupping, corrective exercises and rigid/kinesio tape, he gives every one of his clients the best chance for positive results at the end of each treatment. Nick also realizes that the human body does take time to improve and is able to tailor specific treatment plans for you, enabling you to book multiple, regular consultations, to achieve the goal of recovering better with each session, without rushing your treatment.

He has always had a deep connection to sports and uses his experience at professional levels as both a player and therapist to help his clients reach their treatment goals. Nick has previously played football in the VFL, he currently works for the Melbourne Rebels and earlier in 2018, he was fortunate enough to go to the Commonwealth Games to massage as part of the Beach Volleyball and Basketball medical teams.

Nick is currently completing his Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy at RMIT, which is already proving incredibly beneficial for himself and his clients and will continue to do so once he graduates at the end of the year!! After completing his myotherapy course, he hopes to continue study with Physiotherapy, where he will continue to grow as a therapist.

In his spare time, Nick can be found constantly checking up on the NBA for all sorts of news, he does love his Lakers. Nick also loves the AFL, which means that he is always keeping tabs on his beloved Hawks. When it comes to relaxing, you can usually find Nick chilling at the park with his baby Border Collie, Baxter, or sitting in a café with a coffee and demolishing brunch. So, not only can you get great advice with regards to your treatment, but if you’re in need of a brunch or burger spot, he is only too happy to help you narrow down your next feed.
